The Lexus GX is perfect for families. Not too small, not too big. It also has many conveniences to help drivers get places comfortably. It is also under one of the most reliable automakers, Lexus.

Design
The GX includes all of the current design cues from Lexus, such as the spindle grille and dynamic streaks on the bottoms of the headlights. The GX is still in style, so it is not outdated compared to other models. In fact, it fits right in. At the rear, the GX has taillights that integrate with the rear window. The interior has a luxurious wood finish, along with black leather seats. A new generation isn't coming until 2023 or later.

Space
The Lexus GX is the second largest SUV in the luxury brand's lineup, so it isn't too big, nor is it too small. With the third row seats up, it has a incredible 11.6 cubic feet of space. With the third row folded down, that leaves 46.7 cubic feet of trunk space, along with of 64.7 cubic feet of space with the second and third rows folded down. 64.7 cubic feet of space leaves enough room for a few backpacks, one or two mountain bikes, and more. There are also pockets for storage in the rear and side doors, behind the seats, near the gauge cluster, and there are cupholders throughout the car.

Reliability
Lexus is known for reliability, so any model will last a decade or two. There are many Lexus models still on the road today. J.D Power rates the GX at 4.5 out of five for reliability.

Towing Capacity
The Lexus GX is a large SUV that is built for off roading, so of course it has a decent towing capacity. It can tow up to 6,500 pounds. That is comparable to a trailer, so the GX is capable of towing trailers that suit many different duties.
Powertrains
The Lexus GX is powered by a 4.6-liter V-8 engine, and runs on premium gas.
Infotainment
The Lexus GX has a touchscreen fitted into the dashboard, and touch screens are way easier to control than any other screen type. It has everything you need in an infotainment system, including a map, navigaton, driving assistance technology, and more. It is not the newest system from Lexus, but what matters is that it is easy to control and navigate.

Trims
The GX SUV has three trims: base, premium, and luxury. All of them come with the 4.6 V8 engine, automatic transmission and all wheel drive. Even the base model has enough features to please buyers. Most safety tech comes standard with any trim level. Exterior colors include starfire pearl, claret mica, nightfall mica, silver lining metallic, fire agate, nebula gray, and black onyx. The model shown here seems to be colored in black onyx. The interior can come in Black w/Synthetic Leather NuLuxe Seat Trim or Leather Seat Trim [Black], Ecru w/Leather Seat Trim [Beige], or Sepia w/Synthetic Leather NuLuxe Seat Trim or Leather Seat Trim [Beige].
